Most people are aware of the importance of going to the dentist every once in a while, in order to fix potentially damaged teeth. But did you know that you could also be suffering from the malady of having crooked teeth? In this case, it would take you a bit more than a single visit to the dentist and in more extreme cases, you will have to wear braces for a prolonged period of time.
So, it makes perfect sense that a lot of people won’t take so kindly to wearing braces. Well, this trend may change if you become aware of the strong benefits that you will get if you get braces.
The first benefit comes in the fact that you will prevent tooth decay, gum disease, and cavities to an extent. Having cooked teeth may make things a lot more difficult when it comes to thorough cleaning. You may think that you’re doing everything in your power when you’re brushing your teeth twice a day on a daily basis, but the fact of the matter is that if your teeth are misaligned – you may not be reaching parts of them with your brush and paste. This can lead to all sorts of problems, so if you wish to prevent these problems – you should realign your teeth with braces.
The second benefit is of a functional nature – as teeth help you masticate your food and prepared it for digestion. Well, if you have misaligned teeth, you may experience issues with this process. Not being able to bite right is a frequent issue that people with misaligned teeth tend to have – so you should do your best to realign your teeth and aid digestion by wearing braces.
A smile always looks better when you have healthy teeth
If you find out that you’re feeling ashamed to open your mouth and smile because of your crooked teeth – then you will be delighted to learn that this problem of yours can easily be solved with the help of braces. The braces will realign your teeth and you will feel much more comfortable in smiling from now on.
There are also many other benefits that you will experience by wearing braces, so we suggest that you go and see the dentist as soon as possible. Every second counts and now you know that nothing prevents you from having healthy, properly-aligned teeth.

Dear Patient,
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.
Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies recommendations. Based on the recommendations from ADA and CSDA into consideration and being mindful of the safety and well-being of our patients and staff, we have made the decision to open our offices from Wednesday May 13th for Emergencies and from Wednesday May 20th for routine dental treatments.
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 203-790-0111.
