Having a bad breath is a common problem today, although not many people are even aware that they have this problem. Sometimes it can be hard to determine whether you have bad breath by your own, so it can be helpful if you ask some of your closest ones to tell you. Regardless of how unpleasant this situation is, a good thing to know is that there are many effective solutions for getting rid of it.
There are different reasons for bad breath today and one of the most common reasons is the food stuck somewhere between the teeth. The food then breaks down and the bacteria are causing the bad smell. Other common reason for bad breath is excessive usage of tobacco. Tobacco products contain different chemicals that contribute towards bad breath. Bad dental hygiene and failing to floss are a couple of other major causes for having a bad breath. Not many people know, but even some medications may contribute towards bad mouth odor.
No matter what is the reason for the bad breath you always have many options available for eliminating it. Some methods are more effective than others, but important thing is to try and see what works best for you. Anyhow, if you feel that you have a bad breath it is advisable for you to schedule an appointment with your dentist. Bad breath is often associated with tooth decay and other dental problems, so see your dentist as soon as possible and he will be able to determine what the main cause for your bad breath is.
All the mentioned reasons for bad mouth odor can be removed by following some simple steps. One of the most efficient things is, of course, brushing your teeth regularly at least twice per day or after every meal. Besides brushing your teeth you should not forget to clean your tongue as well. Flossing is another thing which you should do at least once every day if you want to avoid having bad breath. Using a quality mouthwash for rinsing your mouth completes the necessary things you should do every day in order to maintain good oral hygiene. If you still continue to have bad breath after doing all things mentioned, then you should immediately visit your dentist in order to get examined for potential dental problems that may be causing your bad breath.

Dear Patient,
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.
Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies recommendations. Based on the recommendations from ADA and CSDA into consideration and being mindful of the safety and well-being of our patients and staff, we have made the decision to open our offices from Wednesday May 13th for Emergencies and from Wednesday May 20th for routine dental treatments.
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:
