As with practically every other field of interest in life – there are significant improvements and discoveries in the field of dentistry. There used to be a time when going to the dentist looked like going to the seventh circle of hell. But nowadays really a visit to a dentist’s office is a breeze, no matter the reason. And there are many new ways in which you can improve the health and looks of your teeth. One of these ways is through the use of cosmetic veneers.
For those of you that don’t know – cosmetic veneers are devices that are used to mask damage done to teeth or make misalignment a bit more hard to spot. As such, they are an important addition to the dental health arsenal. Now, you may need a cosmetic veneer yourself – perhaps you have damaged or broken teeth and you desperately want to have a wonderful smile again.
Well, the first thing that you need to consider in regard to cosmetic veneers is the fact that the cosmetic veneers are permanent. You won’t be able to remove them once they are implanted on your teeth.
But if you do decide that you want to install them, then there are several benefits stemming from their use. The first benefit is that the cosmetic veneers are specifically designed so as to be minimally intrusive, and to blend in entirely in the background of the natural teeth. So, say your tooth is broken and it looks horrible. Well, you can add a cosmetic veneer in order to make that particular tooth appear whole again, and nobody will be able to tell the difference.
Next off, cosmetic veneers are known to be relatively gentle on the teeth. They won’t do additional damage, and they will still do their work of making the teeth look good. And they are known for their longevity – they will last you for 7-15 years without showing any wear and tear at all.
You will need to go to the dentist a couple of times in order to install the cosmetic veneers completely. But the entire procedure is by no means complicated or painful in any way. It will be over in no time and you will have succeeded in marinating that wonderful smile of yours after the treatment. So, enjoy having your very own cosmetic veneers that will improve the looks of your teeth.

Dear Patient,
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.
Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies recommendations. Based on the recommendations from ADA and CSDA into consideration and being mindful of the safety and well-being of our patients and staff, we have made the decision to open our offices from Wednesday May 13th for Emergencies and from Wednesday May 20th for routine dental treatments.
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 203-790-0111.
